Serious About Impact?

Sam has over 30 years of experience in structuring private debt financing in emerging and underserved markets. She led Advance Global Capital's impact investing initiatives for over 10 years and worked as a corporate and investment banker for Citibank in London and Prague where she managed a portfolio of international clients and structured and arranged syndicated loans in emerging markets.

 

She has developed sustainable business strategies for international brands expanding to emerging markets as well as supporting social enterprise clients in the clean tech, green building, fair trade, hospitality and education industries. She also helped establish the Soros Foundation's first Graduate Program in Economics in Prague.

 

She is an active philanthropist and impact investor and serves as a Director of both Advance Global Capital and MCE Socap, helping to deploy capital to women-led micro and small businesses in emerging markets.

She earned her BA degree in International Relations and Women's Studies from University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from Katz School of Business.
